Home of the Brave

By Kalin Lockhart

Age 12

We have our men in Iraq,

Some of whom might not come back.

Sad though it may be,

Brave is what I see.

We have men both true and bold,

Something more precious than gold;

They will not ever run,

They will stand there with their gun.

All the dictators will fall down in fear,

For they know that the end of their time is near.

Even though some of our men go to the grave,

They will always belong to the home of the brave.
